Founder of SMSimplifier
Wendy is founder of SMSimplifier, a go-to service for businesses seeking guidance in online marketing and promotion. Her career started in education and moved into sales, finally landing her a senior-sales executive position. Her “marketing-is-the-core-of-any-position” attitude has allowed her to dabble in event management, non-profit establishment, and grant writing, and finally led her to a full-service, social-media marketing firm. Her clients include a range of established and emerging brands, to include non-profits. Committed to mentoring businesses in social-media strategy, she lives with her family (husband, two toddlers, and a dog) in Williamsburg, VA.
Sommer’s professional career began managing her family business, where she realized the benefits of social-media and internet marketing, long before Facebook. Sommer has worked in emergency services, as a Medic, then Marketing for a large non-emergency transport company. She shifted to social media management of multiple small businesses and accounts, in 2014. She’s developed graphic-design skills through independent study and creative exploration. Specializing in creating visually-enticing graphics, to promote viral sharing, Sommer lives in Yorktown, VA, with her two little boys and her husband, a local Firefighter / Medic and service member of the Army National Guard.

SMSimplifier started taking clients in 2012 & now has over 20 clients – to include everything from restaurants, services and venues, to agents, doctors, and retail. Specializing in family-friendly business in the Williamsburg, Newport News, and Yorktown areas, Sommer Chavez and Wendy Wenck Craighill starting working together in 2014. They offer social media marketing services ranging from blogs to photography to graphics. We manage your Pinterest boards, your Twitter and Facebook updates, and will write and publish blogs, articles, and newsletters. We do this in a human way because we believe in developing a relationship with your customers! Advertising is advertising.
